Researcher Development Manager
Researcher Development Manager, with responsibility for professional and career development for early-career researchers, including work towards the EC HR Excellence in Research Award. Elizabeth has ten years experience of running entrepreneurship training programmes for researchers, including an AHRC-funded Scotland-wide programme for arts and humanities researchers, and an innovative immersive programme which gives researchers experience of working with fledgling social enterprises.
Dr Elizabeth Adams is part of the University’s Gender Equality Steering Group, which oversees the Athena Swan scheme, and has presented at international conferences on equalities in researcher development and therefore brings expertise in this area to the HEAPP project. Glasgow currently holds an Athena Swan Bronze Award for gender equality.
